RITTMAN S.A.L.T.'s mission is to help Rittman youth achieve their full potential by remaining alcohol, tobacco, and drug free
We need you and the people you know to become volunteer members!!
Rittman SALT is a community-based, volunteer organization that works to help create an environment in our community that will help keep youth alcohol, tobacco and drug free.  Volunteers are needed from various parts of the community including but not limited to:
Parents

Youth

Schools

Religious Organizations




Media

Law Enforcement

Local Government Leaders

State Government Agencies


Organizations involved in reducing substance abuse
Business Associates

Healthcare Professionals

Fraternal Organizations

Youth-serving Organizations

3. Talk about family expectations and rules about drugs often

                        Clearly state and enforce the consequences for breaking the rules.

4. Use positive feedback to strengthen your teen's decision not to use drugs.

5. Busy, supervised teens have fewer opportunities to get involved with drugs.

                        Encourage your child to take part in community or after school activities, or to get a part time job.

6. Get to know your child's friends.

                        Know where they hang out and what they are doing.
